The nature of nano

At  nanoscale, things are made valid,
not comparable to on earth.
No human language can clearly state
what it is all about.

A single, free electron
does not ever follow a logical path.
A molecule, randomly stacked

has had its quality formed once and for all.
Conductivity, without resistance,
performs without a tight wire.
As a grabbing arm, the microscope
scripts atoms measured in carats.
In the thumb-wide lab with an oven,
substances are sent through a chip.
A light signal bounces like a golden tiara,
and crowns the journey.

Mesa+ Institute routinely publishes

about small things at a global scale.
The new maxim in Twente echoes:
Nano is not so, but is just so!
